Using an existing send-pr Using an existing "send-pr"
If your system has already the "gnats" utility installed, it's easy to integrate our J support site in your setup.
- Find out where your GNATS file area is located on your system. The default value for this is /usr/local/share/gnats. Other good guesses are /usr/share/gnats and /usr/gnu/share/gnats. If you are totally lost, invoke
query-pr -P
and you'll see the path on top of each report.- In the directory you found in the previous step, create the file gaertner with the following contents:
pending test gds-rfc j-unix j-engine j-lib j-docs j-juggle- In your mail aliases file, typically /etc/aliases, create an entry as follows:
gaertner-bugs: bugs@gaertner.de- Run newaliases to activate the new entry.
That's all. When you are done with these steps, you should be able to invoke
send-pr gaertnerand get the form with our J support categories listed. Happy bug reporting!
