Ken Iverson wanted to avoid any special computer jargon in the Dictionary of J (or any other material). He tried to re-use existing, common, familiar words whenever possible. All the words below appear to be "intuitve, common words", but have a very special, distinctly defined meaning somewhere in the Dictionary of J.
